Trick Tips - Backside Pivot Fakie

This trick is diabolically evil and has caused me much grief. Before you try it, get good at regular pivots and fakie rocks. Learn to sit on pivots with all your weight resting on your heel wheel. To do this trick, as you approach the coping, turn and push on your tail so that you are locked on the coping on your heel wheel. Keep your shoulders turned as if you're doing a fakie rock. As you start to lean back into the ramp, shift your weight from your heel to your toes and push your back foot in, leading you fakie . Remember to push on your tail long enough so your front truck doesn't catch the coping. It's safer to learn pivot to fakie rock first. Good luck and wear a wrist guard or something.
